The structure of a business plan

The structure of the business plan is not regulated by the legislation, therefore every firm develops its own approaches and structure, which will rely on the character of business, the primary purposes of drafting of business plan and perform the requirements to it.

So, for example, the business plan of production enterprise will differ from the business plan of auction structure or enterprise of sphere of services.

The difference in the scales of enterprise substantially affects the requirements to the business plan in part of volume of information and level of its working out in details, however in any way it does not affect his structure.

The structure of business plan, or his basic sections, are identical for both variants of presentation of business plan - short resume or unfolded and comprehensive variant. The difference between them is only in the volume of information - a resume, unlike the complete variant contains only basic information and conclusions.
